Default ValleyCon 2009... Pasadena, CA

This is the 20th year of this show, and I just realized I've been going to 17 of them! Haha! My very first model show evAr was in this very room 17 years ago!
Anyway, onto the pics! First one up, is of our very own Mark Sybblefield (Markiii). He took top honors in class with this very cool QF-16 Victim Viper. Way to go Mark!

My trio:

Our own Brian P's (Fightertown Decals Brian) Cat:

Rest of the pics can be found Here

That QF-16 wasn't mine, it was Mark's. And there's more pics in my album, the link is in the first post.

There was some good stuff there alright, for a small show. I'm coming onto this late, as I fell ill again when we came back from Valley-Con. I've been trying to shake this pneumonia ever since.

Hey H, where're the Viper line up photos that was taken after the awards presentation. We set up all 4 Tamiya Vipers for pass and review.

Yeah, my boy had a goos time with the Figthertown girls

Here, Mike. The rest are in my album, link above. Ah, no wonder you've been incommunicado. Get better!

Great pictures! And a fun show to be at. Great to meet those I had only had email contact with and cool to catch up with old friends.

Mike - glad your son liked the Fightertown Girl. I did too...

Daniel - thanks for posting the model shots. There was some great stuff there!

I am curious about the P-3..... Where did the low-viz decals come from?

Yeah, that was Rod's P-3. He was a former P-3 crewman, long before his days at the Fresno ANG.

He pretty much pieced the decals together and even had some Alps printed. You should of seen the lower fuselage as he gutted and rebuilt the bomb bay and wheel wells; good stuff!
