I think it's just the angle of this image. I have more CAD images of this kit from Raymond and the nose looks quite good (after it was fine tuned following my earlier comments).

"flatter" ? Idiots. That looks about perfect to me...not that I know much about CODs or anything...

They even got the "cage" in the interior, nice. I see myself picking one up.

I can't imagine facing the rear of the a/c in flight..that in itself has me reaching for the barfbag....add in a little turbulance...trying to land on a carrier?

I don't know what it feels like to ride facing rearward, but that's the safest seating position.

What exactly are the people saying it should be 'flatter' basing their opinion on?

Not even technically... It IS a JET engine.

Beautiful. This is the next on my list too! I think this is the most awsome aircraft ever. I want a real one as my personal 'camping plane' when I win the lotto!

I found it amazing that they included all that detail. Pain in the 'rusty sherriff's badge' to put all the PE seatbelts tho! Imagine one with Jack Ryan Clutching his bag on approach, with the AC asking if he wants some chocolate!!

Awsome.

Actually the correct classification is a turbine engine. It is a turbo-prop, not a jet.

And when I get pedantic, I get my ass handed to me...

And of course you're correct too. Blah, still has a jet exhaust, so we'll call her a PROP-JET. There ya go, still a jet then.

And I wants one. HAve a couple of patches from when they were at the Windsor airshow in 2009.

Cheers
H.
