Default I'm in, 1/48 AV-8A

I got started on an old school Monogram AV-8A kit yesterday. I built a couple of these as a teenager, the USMC version then had to get the Brit one.
No aftermarket cockpit set or seat is what I'm shooting for, just gonna detail it up with what I got, lots of old Reheat photoetch and plastic bits.
Superscale sheet #48-247 with VMA-231, 513 & 542. Not sure what squadron i'll do yet but I'm leaning toward VMA-513...suggestions? I think VMA-231 has been done to death is all.

Can I play with you guys?
It could be the chance for me to compete the two Super Cobras I started two years ago.
(Here's the thread on ARC.)

I'm down. It'll be my first build since being back. With school holidays and what not coming up, I think I may be able to finish one. (I'm a high school teacher now)
It's a toss up between 1/48 harrier, 1/48 a-4 or a 1/48 a-6. I'll let TANK decide.

Given all that, an A-4 should be the easiest to finish out of the three.

If we finish a kit, do we all get T-shirts that say "I put up with TANK"?

I want mine to read "John B actually finished two kits. The world will end in 2012!!"
