Default 1966 Batmobile (Stop laughing !)

This is the new release of the 1966 Batmobile from Polar Lights in 1/25.
This is one of the best fitting kits I've had the pleasure to build!
Try one you will like it!

Not Laughing, great job! I have the prefinished one with Batman & Robin and the unfinished one with the big-block V-8. They are supposed to release it a third time with the turbine motor. Glad Polar Lights released it, it has been a long time since this Batmobile has been available. I started building car models when I was 7 yrs old and these Barris Customs were the first ones that drew me to model building.

*HOLY THROWBACK!* No laughing here- but there sure is a big grin on my face! Nice job on the Batmobile... I remember cutting boxtops and sending away for the original Aurora kit as a kid; all was great until I tried to slip the tires onto the chrome mags, and the fit was so tight, the tires cracked. Did it come with Batman & Robin 'crew' as well? Painting the figures was the other big challenge (and fun time) for me.

No one if laughing at all.

A lot of good things came out of 1966. The Batmobile-Me-the Batmobile-Me-the Batmobile-me.

Sweetest car ever, actually the car is mine. It is hidden in my cave.

The turbine one is already out. It's called the Deluxe edition. It has the option of either the V-8 or turbine engine, different steering wheels and canopy arch to represent different seasons, a nice PE sheet with things like the headlight grills, some more goodies like the bat-a-ram, umbrellas for the time the Penguin stole the Batmobile, and the prepainted Batman and Robin figures.

Looks great! The only batmobile, as far as I'm concerned!
I had the chance to pick up one of these kits at a local show a couple of weeks ago...kicking myself that I didn't!
