Default What about an 1/32nd F-4G conversion?

Hi guys,

I'm since long a great fan of the F-4G Wild Weasel and I've been looking out on the aftermarket to find me the parts needed to build one in 1/32nd.
But every time it's the same story.

I know that CE & CAM USED to make this conversion set but finding one of these sets seems to be almost impossible. It looks like every shop shows them as OOP and totally sold out. Sure you'll find a CE set on e-bay now and then but they're always priced like if they were made from gold...
I've seen that flightpath also has an F-4G set, but thats only the chin pod so you still need to scratch or rip a lot of parts from other kits...

All of this made me wondering.

Wolfpack-d produces some of the finest conversion set on the market these days.
They've made some F-4 sets in the past.
They already have the molds for the outer wing slats so the only thing still to do are the chin pod, some antenna's and an aft pit panel...

Why not put an F-4G set on the drawing boards for the future?
I'm pretty sure I'm not the only fan of the Wild Weasels and there are a lot of people who still have the F-4G ranked quite high on there wishlist.

Maybe you guys can work something out in the future?

Greetings
Rick

I'd love to see a new, accurate, F-4G conversion. Flight Path's chin pod is completely fictional and useless. CE's was good, but the radome shape followed the same shape problems as the Revell kits.

I've got the references if you decide to do this, Gustav.

Default Dear Rick & Jake

I think, your suggestions are reasonable.
Sure, I hope to make a 1/32 F-4G Conversion set too.
But, first I should make 1/32 F-4E Late Conversion set for Tamiya 1/32
included Slated wing and another details.

Next, It will be 1/32 F-4G Conversion set included perfact decals.
(Maybe Operation Desert Storm?)

Cheers,

Id buy a late F-4E & F-4G sets,Tamiya really missed out on a great sales chance by not retooling their kit. Throw in some F-4E decals for Clark,Osan,Taegu jets and RoKAF options and you've got a sales winner.

That sounds like music to my ears Desert storm decals would be the cherry on the cake!
Thanks for taking this one in consideration. I'll be one of the first to order it!

Keep up the good work.
