Default Best Space Shuttle kit?

Scale doesn't matter. I just want a kit that is fairly accurate.

Nasa is selling the 1:1 versions, I hear they are the most accurate.

The Airfix kit in 1/144 is actually the best in overall shape. Fit is decent to fair, but it is the best looking orbiter.

You can read about the different shuttle kits here.

Personally, I prefer the Tamiya 1/00 kit.

Thanks for the link. That's a good thread.

I'm getting the urge to do a 747-shuttle combo now.

Check ebay for the Revell 747/Orbiter combo. It comes with the ancillary fins, orbiter mounts and aero cover for the main engines and OMS pods.

Plus, it is the best 1/144 747 classic.

Draw Decals does the modern SCA markings for the 747.
