Default WTB-Cutting Edge F4H-1 conversion set 1/48 (I'm desperate!)

Like the title says I'm on a quest. Hoping that someone might have this set that they'd be willing to part with. It seems that this kit stays just out of my grasp. Lost an eBay auction literally at the last second. I shit you not I was beat out with 1 second remaining. And I was in the crazy 4 am got to have mode and making crazy bids. Anyways I'm really hoping that somebody might be able to help me. I will entertain any offer.

Best regards
Dave

Falcon makes a conversion set for the F4H-1 too. It's vacformed rather than resin though, but you can use ordinary plastic cement to join the parts. And it doesn't come with decals.

If you can't find one, D Mold announced that they are going to do that same conversion set. I think that Dmitri did the masters for the CE set, so it will probably be about the same, and cheaper than a CE set too

Jens,
Thanks for the reply. I've actually got that set but Im not the best when it comes to vacform. Plus I really would love to have the decals.

Doug,
I've heard that about DMold. Just haven't seen anything lately. If he is able to produce the same resin set that would be great but again it would be great to get the decals. I've even emailed old Dave Klaus himself about this but he seems not interested in getting back into it. Would love to see him come up with some more of the decal sets for sale.

Don't remind me. I was beaten out literally with one second left in the bidding. I lost by $5. Like I said I kinda got carried away in the bidding. I honestly didn't think the bidding would get that high.

Have corresponded with Dmitri at DMold and guess I'll wait on him to put out the conversion. He's in the process of moving his family and the whole business here to the US. My question is how I go about getting the decals.

Regards all,
Dave
