GWH MIG-29 9-13 "Red44"

Hi all,

I have just started my latest build as above, the GWH Mig-29 OOB with Linden Hill decals. I will be doing Red 44

I have made a start on the cockpit which is very nice and I don't think needs any aftermarket. I am yet to paint and add the PE harness.

I am impressed with the detail and quality of the molding. As an example this is the detail moulded onto the upper fuselage cockpit area.

Looking good so far!

Looks great! In case you didn't know, I'm told the pylons and fuel tanks on this kit are also undersized (like on the 9-12 LATE they first released). May not be of any consequence to you but I just read that over at ARC.

Great start, I have a few unbuilt 29's. Watching this one too. Good choice of schemes!

Looking good so far! Don't forget to add the throttle though. You'll need to scratchbuild it.

Rob- thanks but yeah that sort of thing doesn't bother me.

Mark - Thanks for the tip, I scratched something that resembles a throttle- very tiny though.

After adding 20+ decals the instrument panel is done

I am following the instructions and have assembled the wheel bays and they have been primed and base coated. More to come
